I have an awful display at the resolution of 800*600 and 1024*768. I didn't have any problems in the first few days I installed Vista. Later, I realized that the Start Menu, the taskbar, the Aero... Everything is distorted. I have checked the disc but nothing was found. Anyone have the same case or know how to fix it?

Awful Display
Try changing your Refresh Rate, right click your desktop > click Perosnalize
Display Settings > Advanced Options > under General tab > click List modes select a higher refresh rate for your monitor depending on the display size.
